Life is Good…

Ben decided he still does not fit in public school, so after a month or so of trying out the local fourth grade, he is back home.  School starts bright and early on monday morning.  I really enjoyed the total tease of the past five years.  When he started at the charter school in kindergarten, I thought, “Cool, now I will have a few hours every day to myself!  But he skipped school so much that he was home all the time during kindergarten and first grade, and then he only lasted a month of second grade before he bailed, same for third and fourth grade.  Each year, I thought I was finished with home school, but now will jump back in the saddle and see what sort of fun we can come up with this year.
