My Long Term readers know that I was very involved in the Tea Party movement on line and at the local level in Colorado. I organized several events at the Denver Capitol, and also was the opening speaker of the first Denver Tea Party in February of 2009. I wrote a blog post last week titled Dear Lois, Apology NOT Accepted.
In this email exchange with Rachael Proctor I outlined several facts about my own experience with the IRS as an organizer seeking to set up a bank account to keep our Tea Party groups funds away from our Family Budget. (Scroll down and read from the bottom up to get the correct chronology).
I seriously considered flying to Washington DC to attend the hearings in person, but I was scheduled to teach my Yoga Class on Thursday night and my husband is coaching Bens soccer and it is tournament week, with games every night, so I did not want to ditch Paul when he was also having a particularly busy week at work. I was thrilled by the things I heard during the mornings inquiry by Congress and look forward to a complete dismantling of the IRS, the Impeachment of President Obama, and a complete overhaul of our Federal Government with various agencies abolished or downsized, and an audit of the Federal Reserve followed by that illegal and corrupt group being shut down. I believe we have turned a corner towards Freedom and applaud all of those willing to stand up and cheer like the folks in the audience did during the hearing.
Thank you for sending this Jenny!

Subject: Testimonial from Tea Party Organizer Jenny Hatch ie IRS Scandal
Rachael, (And I am CC’ing Whitney Neal from Freedom Works)In the body of this email are links to several documents related to the Denver 9-12-09 Tea Party. They are hosted on my Blog.
1. Permit for the event from the state of Colorado: https://jenhatchblog.files.wordpress.com/2013/05/image32.jpg
2. IRS response to my request to register our group for financial purposes. I could not open a bank account or do anything with the donations I received without this number. As stated in my videos, as long as the words “Tea Party” were in the online form, it was rejected: https://jenhatchblog.files.wordpress.com/2013/05/image14.jpg
3. Planning Emails sent to our team of organizers
4. Agenda of the actual event: https://jenhatchblog.files.wordpress.com/2013/05/image27-e1368577613347.jpg(Water marks on the papers are from the raging storm we had that night in Denver, thousands of Patriots stood in the rain for hours listening to a reading of The Founding Documents)5. Final thoughts:
Although my formal tea party activism stopped during the fall of 2010 and I did not experience the full range of IRS Inquisition, I was being “Messed with” in a variety of ways by people I believe were upset with my activism.
I have been an outspoken Conservative Activist for many years and the leftist mob in Boulder Colorado were in my face and all over my life since the late 90’s with various forms of intimidation and harassment.
I reported several of these incidents to the local police and even once to the Denver FBI, but they all treated me as a crazy, so I had to just let it go.
The only proof I have of the gang stalkings and other incidents that took place are various medical records and the fact that my blog was hacked many times.
I also believe some of my fellow activists may have been threatened, particularly my media coordinator Bruce Miller. But since he will not return my emails or calls, I have no proof.
If people want to understand what happened to the Tea Party during the 2012 election, these stories of intimidation need to be published eventually. But the IRS scandal is the perfect place to start because of the fact that we have paper trails and they have admitted to the wrongdoing. I know that I am still terrorized by what has happened and I suspect many conservative activists are always experiencing some fear of intimidation and backlash by various government agencies.
God Bless all of you in this effort. I will be praying for your safety and effectiveness.

PS My gut feeling is that I was especially targeted because I write a health care blog and during its heyday I had over 40,000 unique visitors a month.
I believe the combination of Tea Party activism combined with my beliefs and writings about a Free Market Health Care system on the internet caused the enemies to freedom to target me with a particularly noxious form of retribution.Email exchange with Rachael:
Thank you for letting me know Jenny! If the copies of your documents are easy to share via email, that would be great.
Thanks!

Hi Rachael,I have to work on thursday, but you are welcome to use my video testimonial that I taped for my blog here: http://jennyhatch.com/2013/05/10/dear-lois-apology-not-accepted-tea-party-organizer-jenny-hatch-video-response/
I did not suffer the same level of harassment that later groups did, but hearing about what they were experiencing compelled me to slowly back away from my Tea Party Activism. I also believe the IRS was messing with applications as early as 2009, because as long as I put the words Tea Party into the online form, it would not process.
Just let me know if you needs copies of my documents, I would be happy to email them.
